Esteemed Miami Hand Course Participant-

I again have the distinct pleasure to invite you to join us at our 4th annual Miami Hand Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty course. This year’s conference will occur on Sunday and Monday, February 22 and 23rd, 2009 , just prior to the start of the AAOS meeting in Las Vegas.

As in previous years, the objective of the course is to assemble opinion leading surgeons in one venue who have advanced the area of small joint reconstruction , via either arthroscopy or arthroplasty. This will include a didactic forum on Sunday with presentations by faculty from around the world, as well as the inaugural cadaver portion of the course where participants can perform some of these techniques hands on at the newly inaugurated DaVinci Center. I also encourage the participants, coming worldwide, to mingle directly with our esteemed faculty during the now famous party at "the jungle" Many a new surgical technique has been developed in incubation over a mojito. Or two....

This year’s conference faculty will include surgeons from Spain, Italy, Holland, Brazil, France, Hong Kong and around the USA. The lab faculty has been selected based upon specific expertise in teaching many of these techniques on a cadaver model and some have served as previous conference speakers.

We will again provide simultaneous Spanish translation to accommodate our latin colleagues hailing from South, central America and the Caribbean.
